Salvation

SALVATION
We believe in the Holy Bible’s message of salvation.

Primary Purpose – Mankind was created by God to be in relationship with God for eternity.

The primary purpose of humanity was in jeopardy after the fall of man in the garden of Eden.

  1. GENESIS 2:16,17
  2. GENESIS 3:1-15

All Humanity (In the seed form of Adam and Eve) became separated spiritually from our Creator (God), in the garden of Eden, through a two-fold action.

First- we transferred our faith from God’s Word (1), and placed our faith in the words of the serpent (2).
Second- we acted upon that faith transference and disobeyed God’s command committing original sin.

Because God is truth, absolute, pure, and perfect in nature, our sin changed our nature to impure, and imperfect. Also, as the source of spiritual life, it is impossible for that which is not the same as God to possess the life God possesses. Once humanity possessed a nature that was different from God’s through becoming impure and imperfect, we were immediately separated from God spiritually resulting in the spiritual death God warned us would happen (1).

MATTHEW, MARK, LUKE, JOHN
Consequently, through the sacrifice of humanity’s spiritual life, which was perfect, humanity was no longer in spiritual union (relationship with God), and in order for the union to be reestablished, a same kind of sacrifice is required but no human met the requirement of being able to be a perfect spiritual sacrifice in the form of a human to satisfy the requirement. Since, the only perfect being that exists is God (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) He became human in the person of Jesus Christ (Son) and sacrificed himself to give humanity the opportunity to be reunited with God through placing our faith in His Word or redemption and salvation.

HOW DO I RECEIVE SALVATION?
The following scriptures guide us into what we need to do to become saved and a member of God’s family of faith.
John 3:16 – For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Acts 2:38 – Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 10:9-10 – If you declare with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
I John 1:9 – If we confess your sins, he is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness
If you would like to receive salvation you can say the following:

LORD JESUS, I CONFESS THAT I AM A GUILTY OF BEING A SINNER. I REPENT OF MY SINS AND I BELIEVE THAT YOU SACRIFICED YOUR LIFE FOR ME, TAKING THE PENALTY DUE TO ME FOR BEING A SINNER, SO I COULD BE REUNITED WITH GOD FOR ETERNITY FULFILLING ONE OF THE PURPOSES FOR WHICH I WAS CREATED.

FATHER GOD, I ALSO BELIEVE THAT YOU RAISED JESUS FROM THE DEAD AFTER THREE DAYS AND AS HE WAS RESURRECTED FROM DEATH, I HAVE ALSO BEEN RESURRECTED FROM DEATH IN HIM. I AM A NEW CREATION IN CHRIST AND MY OLD SIN NATURE NO LONGER HAS POWER OVER MY LIFE.

THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME EARS THAT HEAR AND EYES THAT SEE THE TRUTH OF SALVATION. AMEN
